Habit Loop — Privacy Policy

Overview

Habit Loop ("we", "our", or "the app") is a habit-tracking application designed for personal productivity. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information related to your use of the app. This policy explains how data is handled, including data used by third-party advertising services.

Data We Collect

All data you create in the app (habits, records, statistics) is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

• No account or sign-up is required.
• Your habit data is never sent to our servers or any third-party servers.
• However, we use Google AdMob to display ads, which may collect certain device and usage data as described below.

Advertising (Google AdMob) Updated

Habit Loop uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. AdMob may collect and use the following types of information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads:

• Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA / Advertising ID)
• IP address and general location
• App usage and interaction data
• Device type, OS version, and language settings

This data is collected and processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising or by enabling Limit Ad Tracking.

We comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. Where required, the app will request your permission before allowing AdMob to use your Advertising ID for personalized ads.

Notifications

Habit Loop may request permission to send local push notifications to remind you of your habits. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are never routed through external servers. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your iOS Settings.

Local Storage

All app data is stored using iOS on-device storage (AsyncStorage / SQLite). This data is included in your standard iTunes / iCloud device backup. Deleting the app will permanently remove all associated data.

Children's Privacy

Habit Loop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. AdMob is configured to serve non-personalized ads only in contexts where users may be under 13.

Third-Party Links & Services New

Ads displayed by AdMob may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
